Art Class Sydney is a private art school for adults located in the leafy suburb of Birchgrove in a fabulous old church hall with modern facilities. All ages and skill levels will enjoy fun and challenging painting and drawing classes led by educated and highly experienced professional artists and tutors. The primary tutor and owner is professional artist Ochre Lawson who has been teaching and painting for over 20 years.
At Art Class Sydney we run a Wednesday morning and evening and a Thursday morning class in painting and drawing. Classes are structured around different subjects including still life, interiors, landscape, portraits and abstraction. The structured courses also look at a variety of artists and art movements throughout history including impressionism, modernism and contemporary art. For students who don’t have time for an 8 week course we also run monthly Sunday workshops in painting, drawing and watercolour covering a variety of subjects.
Annually in the 3rd week in January we run a week of intensive workshops.
